Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in just over a year, December 18, 2015. It's being directed by J. J. Abrams, and will be the first Star Wars film since Lucasfilm was acquired by Disney in 2013, and is the start of new trilogy of Star Wars films set in the years after Return of the Jedi.
