Leica isn't very humble about its sterling reputation in the camera industry, and, depending on who you ask, the German outfit has every right to be proud of its accomplishments. To see just how highly the company thinks of itself, check out this wonderfully-produced new spot celebrating the firm's 100th anniversary. "We didn't invent photography, but we invented photography," muses the narrator. The ad recreates some of the most legendary stills in photographic history — many of which came from cameras produced by other manufacturers. The narrator offers that "the most iconic images in history, even the ones that weren't taken with a Leica, were taken because of a Leica." How many shots can you identify?
